Download MyCitroën app

How do I download the MyCitroën app?

Let yourself by guided by this tutorial video, from downloading the app to activate your connected services.
 
  1. On your smartphone, go to Apple Store or Google Play depending on your phone.
  2. In the search bar, type “MyCitroën”
  3. Click on the MyCitroën app, and on “Download”

 

Once installed, it's time to create a MyCitroën account.

How to create a MyCitroën account

Important: Before creating a MyCitroën account, make sure you have the MyCitroën app installed.

Before this step, you have to download MyCitroën app.

Follow a tutorial video here or the below steps:

1. Create a MyCitroën account

In MyCitroën app:

  • Select “Sign up”
  • Fill in the form details (email address, password, gender, last name, first name) and activate your account (follow next steps below).

 

Or

 

Visit https://services-store.citroen.co.uk/:

  • In the top right, hover over the “Sign in” section, then select “Create your Citroën account”
  • Fill the form (email address, password, gender, last name, first name) and activate your account (follow next steps below). 

2. How to Activate your account

 

  • Go to your Email Inbox, open the email that you just received from Citroën
  • Click “Activate your MyCitroën account”
  • Confirm

3. How to connect the app to your account

 

 

 

  • In MyCitroën app, select “Connect”
  • Login with your MyCitroën account email address and password details
  • Accept and validate
    Now it's time to connect MyCitroën to your vehicle.

4. How to connect the MyCitroën app to your vehicle

Connect to your account :

Before this step, you have to download the MyCitroën app and create a MyCitroën account. 

It takes only 10 minutes. Go inside your car, with your smartphone, and follow this tutorial video, or these steps:

 

 

In the MyCitroën app :

 

  1. Select “Add a vehicle”
  2. Enter your vehicle VIN number 
  3. Enter your mileage, and validate
  4. In “My services” section, select a service, and enter your phone number
  5. Enter the security code you received by SMS, and validate. Create a 4 digit PIN code, and validate

 

Then, inside your vehicle and with your phone:

  1. In your phone settings, turn on Bluetooth and connect to your vehicle as a new device, while accepting Terms and Conditions.
  2. On your vehicle dashboard, select “Connect phone” & select your phone
  3. On your phone, enter the code displayed in your vehicle dashboard
  4. On your vehicle dashboard, select “phone” & “audio streaming” and validate
     

A confirmation message will be displayed in your MyCitroën app homepage. Then you will have to:

  1. Turn off your vehicle engine for 5 minutes
  2. Authorise data sharing in the vehicle
  3. Drive for 15 minutes minimum to launch the connection between your vehicle and MyCitroën
     

You will receive an email confirming that your connected services are activated and can be used.

Now it is time to activate and use your Connect ONE pack and Connect PLUS pack.

How to activate or renew a Connected Services Pack
Important: Before this step, you have to download the MyCitroën app, create a MyCitroën account, and connect MyCitroën to your vehicle. 

1. Activate Connect One pack

In the MyCitroën app: :

  • In “My services” section, select any service
  • A window will open: select “Activate now”
  • Read the Terms & Conditions, enter your phone number, and confirm

 

Or

 

Go to https://services-store.citroen.co.uk/: :

  • Select “Connect ONE pack” and “Activate now”
  • Read the Terms & Conditions, enter your phone number, and confirm
  • You can now activate the Connect PLUS pack, or activate and use the services included in your Connect ONE pack.

2. Activate Connect Plus pack

 
in the MyCitroën app:
  • In the “Services to discover” section, select “Discover” for Connect PLUS pack 
  • A window will open: select “Activate now”
  • Read the Terms & Conditions, enter your phone number, and confirm

  • Select “Connect PLUS pack” and “Activate now”
  • Read the Terms & Conditions, enter your phone number, and confirm

Now it's time to activate and use the services included in your pack.

3Renew a Connected Services Pack 

 

 
Has your Connect PLUS pack expired? You can easily re-subscribe & renew.
 
In the MyCitroën app: 
  • In the “My services” section, you can see the expiration date of your pack: select it
  • A window opens: choose your renewal offer between 1 month or 1 year
  • Select “Activate now”
  • Complete checkout

  • Sign in & in the “My account” section, you can see the expiration date of your pack: select it
  • Choose your renewal offer between 1 month or 1 year
  • Select “Activate now”

How to activate a connected service
Important:Before this step, you have to download the MyCitroën app, create a MyCitroën account, connect the MyCitroën app to your vehicle and activate your packs.

Services included in Connect One pack, already activated

  • SOS Assistance: For a peace of mind, benefit from a quick assistance in case of an accident or breakdown, and follow the assistance arrival in real-time.
  • E-Remote Control: Check & control the charge of your electric vehicle, and for a peace of mind, be alerted when the battery is full or the charging is interrupted.​
  • Mirror Screen: Display your mobile apps and content directly on your car touchscreen.
Services included in Connect One pack, to activate separately

Telemaintenance: 

With the Telemaintenance alerts service, we will let you know when a service or maintenance-related alert indicates that your Citroën needs some extra attention. 

 

In the meantime, you can be confident that your vehicle is working as it should be; for total peace of mind. If your vehicle is equipped with Citroën Connect Box, it is compatible with this free connected service, included in your Connect ONE pack.

 

All you need to do is go to the MyCitroën app, and in the “My services” section activate Telemaintenance service.​ We can then remotely activate your vehicle and start to provide you with this free of charge service (this process can take up to  7 days).

E-maintenance booklet*:

Your Digital Service Record, up to date and available on your mobile​: access your vehicle's full service history. Once activated, we update your digital records at each workshop visit. 

 

In the MyCitroën app homepage, under this service section, select “Discover now” 

Or if you received an email proposing this service, select “Subscribe”

Or you can request this service activation at a Citroën dealership.

Services included in Connect Plus pack, already activated
  • Connected Navigation: Arrive at your destination on time, thanks to TomTom GPS & its traffic information in real-time. 
  • Remote Control: Check the locking status of your vehicle, lock or unlock it, turn on the lights, or honk the horn with a simple tap on your smartphone. 
  • Trip Planner: Plan your journey with complete peace of mind and visualize the locations of charging stations on your road (learn more here). 
  • Connected Alarm: For peace of mind, watch your car anytime and anywhere, and be informed in real-time in case of theft, even if you are not near your car (learn more here).

Services included in Connect Plus pack, to activate separately

E-Routes*:
Benefit from premium navigation features: plan trips that include the best places to stop for charging, and drive without range anxiety thanks to real-time updates. To subscribe, follow these steps:
  1. Activate or subscribe to Connect PLUS pack
  2. In the MyCitroën app homepage, select “Subscribe to E-Routes”
  3. In the “Vehicle” section, select “Services” > “E-Routes” > “Activate now”
  4. In the homepage, select “The subscription is in progress” > “Start”, and then enter your phone number.
  5. Enter the code you just received by SMS
  6. Connect the MyCitroën app to your vehicle 
  7. In the Apple App Store or Google Play store, download the E-Routes app
  8. Open E-Routes app and select Citroën brand
  9. That’s it! You will receive a notification when activation is ready

 

*Service available on ë-C4 & ë-C4 X only

 

ChatGPT:

To start benefiting from your navigation assistant, you must:

  1. Be the owner of one of the following vehicles from the current Citroën range: C4, C4 C4 X, C5 X, Berlingo, ë-SpaceTourer
  2. Have the Connected Navigation pack activated
  3. Subscribe to the ChatGPT feature on the Services store and click on the “Activate now” button
  4. Follow the purchasing steps
  5. In your vehicle, an automatic remote update will activate ChatGPT on your on-board touchscreen
  6. You will receive confirmation of activation by email
  7. By simply saying “OK Citroën”, you can start to use ChatGPT, integrated in the existing voice recognition feature on your Citroën

 

If you do not have an active Connected Navigation pack, you can activate it by clicking HERE.

Once your Connected Browsing pack is activated, you can subscribe to ChatGPT. Remember that usage is linked to the remaining time of your Connected Navigation pack. If your Connected Navigation pack contract expires before that of ChatGPT, it will be necessary to renew your Connected Navigation pack to continue to benefit from your navigation assistant.

Miscellaneous features

Why does my car beep when I exceed a certain speed?

Owners of vehicles produced since July 2024 benefit from new driving aids.

 

As a responsible manufacturer, Citroën is committed to comply with the latest European regulations.

 

To improve safety and reduce injuries, European Commission decided to revise vehicle safety rules through a General Safety Regulation Version 2 that is applied in European countries, Turkey and Israël from July 2024.

 

The regulation sets new safety measures by strengthening passive / general safety and making mandatory the installation of some new features (Driving assistance systems). The way they operate might be surprising or misunderstood during first few uses. It concerns:

• Speed limitation system: this is the system that makes your vehicle sound when you exceed the authorized speed limits

• Active Safety brake

• Driver attention alert

• Traffic recognition

• Rear parking sensors

• Lane keeping assist

• Cruise control

 

Some of these innovations are still active but others like Lane keeping assist and Speed limitation system are disconnectable.

Smartphone Station

If you have a New Citroën C3 YOU, a New Citroën C3 Aircross YOU or a New Spacetourer, Smartphone Station enables you to use your Smartphone screen as a real infotainment, offering a smart, connected and modern solution.

 

The features you can benefit from: 

• Navigation (GPS), via apps such as Waze, HEREWeGo, Sygic, Google Maps, TomTom…), or e-ROUTES app from Stellantis that enables you to optimize your long trips in electric (e.g. available charging stations)

• Music, connecting to apps such as Apple Music, YouTube Music, Audible, Amazon Music, Deezer…

• Radio, connecting to your favorite stations via an Internet connection

• Calls, which can be listened through the car speakers in order to always stay focused on the road and keep hands on the steering wheel

 

How do you get this service? 

1/ From MyCitroën app homepage (you need first to create an account), go then to the “Launch Smartphone Station” button

2/ Read and accept the safety disclaimer, make the car-phone connection, and set up the NFC auto launch following the steps described

3/ You can now customize your homepage, choose your favorite radio stations, and favorite contacts for calls. Enjoy!
